  Comment: A blue roan has a coat that is a 50/50 mix of white and black hairs in their coat. That's right – a blue roan is not actually an indigo coated horse, but rather one with a dark, black base. This mix of black hairs and white hairs gives the horse a blue-hued appearance, hence the name.(Blue Roan Horse Color Genetics with Photos and Descriptions)
Blue roans have a uniform mixture of black and white hairs and are darker on head and legs. (The Roan Quarter Horse Color AQHA)  In this particular coat pattern, horses will have a mixture of black and white hairs all over their body, making them appear greyish blue. (equinehelper.com) Blue roan is a horse coat color made up of a mixture of black and white hairs, giving the horse an overall blue appearance(horseracingsense.com)  I looked at this photo enlarged and with a white LED light to enhance the color.  I could not see any hint of blue.
