DQRaphaeltearDQ -DIV F1/CLASS 3 : Colour incorrect (unrealistic). Grey (especially dapple grey) is an incorrect colour for any foal. Grey is a colour that acts as a modifier over the base coat, gradually causing the hairs to grow lighter (greyer) over time, and is seen in mature adult horses (not appropriate for foals!). Currently, MHOSS does not offer any classes for unrealistic colour or decorator-type models.
DQSmoke Gets in Your EyestearDQ -DIV F1/CLASS 3 : Colour incorrect (unrealistic). Grey is an incorrect colour for any foal-- grey foals are born black (or any solid base coat colour), and gradually lighten with age. Grey is a colour that acts as a modifier over the base coat, gradually causing the hairs to grow lighter (greyer) over time, and is seen in mature adult horses (not appropriate for foals!). Currently, MHOSS does not offer any classes for unrealistic colour or decorator-type models.
DQRain MantearDQ -DIV F1/CLASS 3 : Colour incorrect (unrealistic). Grey is a colour that acts as a modifier over the base coat, gradually causing the hairs to grow lighter (greyer) over time, and is seen in mature adult horses (not appropriate for foals!). Coat colour gradually lightens after the first foal coat is shed out (usually between 4 - 6 months), then eventually turns grey by the time the horse reaches maturity around 2-3 years of age & up. Currently, MHOSS does not offer any classes for unrealistic colour or decorator-type models.
