Campolina filly foals are shown in CLASS 6 BREYER LIGHT FILLY DQ: Leonie -- tear Comment: DQ - DIV F1/CLASS 8 : Colour incorrect (unrealistic). Grey (or white) is an incorrect colour for any young or newborn foal. Grey foals are born black (or any solid base coat colour). Coat colour begins to turn after the first foal coat is shed out (usually between 3 - 5 months). The Breyer alabaster Proud Arabian Foal represents a foal at a very young age (around 3- 5 weeks). Grey is a colour that acts as a modifier over the base coat, gradually causing the hairs to grow lighter (greyer) over time, and is seen in mature adult horses or yearlings (not appropriate for newborn or very young foals!). Currently, MHOSS does not offer any classes for unrealistic colour or decorator-type models.
