This answer applies only to Contest Albums that will be judged by Single Judges

A SINGLE JUDGE is one person who will do the judging!

 

 

 

You have two methods you may use to assign a Single Judge for a Contest.

 

You may use Album management, 

 

or you may use the Contest Management List.

 

NOTE:   The Judgement method can only be changed while a Contest Album is in Closed or Open state.

 

 

 

How to use Album Management to assign a Single Judge for ONE Contest:

 

You can assign a Single Judge for one Contest at a time by using Album Management.

 

1. On your Contest Album's Home page, access Manage This Album (via the Host Tools button or menu link.)

 

2. Select Album Contest Settings.

 

NOTE:   To set the Judgement Method, the Contest must be in Closed or Open state.

 

3. Set the option for How Contest Winners will be Elected.... 

 

Select: By Single Judge.

 

4. To assign the judge, type a Member's email address or Username into the box.

 

Or you may assign yourself by typing your email address or Username into the box.

 

NOTE:  You are assigning one person to be the judge for this one Contest Album.

 

 

5.  Then click Save.

 

 

By Single Judge will then be the judgement method for that Contest.

 

 

 

 

How to use the Contest Management List to assign a Single Judge for SEVERAL Contests at once:

 

You can assign a Single Judge to one or to multiple Contests at once by using the Contest Management List.

 

1. On your Gallery's Home page, access the Contest Management List (via the Host Tools button or menu link.)

 

2.  Place checkmarks beside selected Contests. 

 

NOTE:   To set the Judgement Method, the selected Contest(s) must be in Closed or Open state.

 

3.  Click on Edit Selected.

 

4.  Click on Change Judging Assignment. 

 

5.  If a Single Judge is desired,

 

Type a Member's email address or Username into the box,

 

Or you may assign yourself by typing your email address or Username into the box.

 

NOTE:  You are assigning one person to be the judge for every Contest selected.

 

 

6.  Then click on the Assign Judge button.

 

 

7.  The Member or Host will be assigned to be the Single Judge for all of the selected Contests.

 

 

By Single Judge will then be the judgement method for the selected Contests.
