WHAT ARE CONTESTS?

 

Contests are fun competitions that can be held in the specialized Contest Albums in the Galleries on SnapBraggin!

 

The Host decides which Contests to hold, and when to hold them!

 

The Host decides how the Contests' winners will be elected!  (Either an assigned Single Judge may judge the entries, or all of the Gallery's Members and Host may rate the entries using Member Ratings.)

 

It all leads to one exciting result:  a chance for the entries in the Contests to win awards, earn points, and achieve glory in the Gallery's Top Ten ! 

 

 

 

TELL ME MORE ABOUT SNAPBRAGGIN CONTESTS:

 

A Gallery's Host may create and manage as many Contest Albums as they desire.

 

A Gallery's Host may run one Contest, or may hold a tournament (of several interrelated contests.)

 

A Gallery's Host will use Album management settings to determine Contest parameters such as the size of photo files, how many entries each Member can upload, how many entries will win awards, etc. in a Contest Album.

 

A Gallery's Host will use the Member Management List to give selected Members permission to submit their entries and to compete (to have their entries judged or rated) in the Contests.  

 

And a Gallery's Host will use the Contest Management list to:

assign the judgement method, to change the state of the Contests in order to start and stop the judging or ratings, to generate written results, and to Reset the Contests (when the Contests are  over.)
