Your Gallery's Host may reject your photo!

 

Your Gallery's Host may reject your photo if the Host feels that the photo is unacceptable for some reason.

 

If your Gallery's Host rejects your photo, your photo will be given a Rejection Badge. REJECTION BADGE ICON

 

And, the Host will leave a Rejection Comment to tell you the reason why.

 

 

OR, a Judge may disqualify your photo (in a Contest)!

 

A judge may disqualify your photo, that is being judged in a Contest Album, if the Judge feels that the photo is unacceptable or inaccurate for some reason.

 

If a judge disqualifies your Contest entry, your photo will be given a DQ Flag. DQ FLAG ICON

 

And, the judge will leave a DQ Comment to tell you the reason why.

 

 

In either case, the Host may give you the opportunity to correct your rejected or disqualified photos....

 

 

 

HOW TO FIND YOUR REJECTED OR DISQUALIFIED PHOTOS:

 

To find your Rejected or Disqualified photos, simply use the My Photos search:

 

1. Sign In with your Username or Email Address and Password.

 

2. Click on the My Photos menu link.

 

3. Place checkmarks next to the Gallery (or Galleries) in which you would like to look for your photos.  (Or place a checkmark next to All My Galleries.)

 

4. Place a checkmark next to "Photos that are Rejected," or "Photos that are flagged as Disqualified." or both.

 

5. Then Click on the Apply Search button.

 

 

 

HOW TO FIX YOUR REJECTED OR DISQUALIFIED PHOTOS:

 

Follow these steps:

 

1.  FIRST READ the Rejection Comment or DQ Comment reason why your photo was rejected or disqualified, so that you know what you need to fix!

 

The Rejection Comment or DQ Comment can be found on your photo's Detail Page.

 

To access your photo's Detail page, click on either the thumbnail, scroll or hybrid view image of your photo.

 

 

2. THEN FIX YOUR PHOTO as described below (based on the reason why.)

 

 Is your Photo itself inaccurate or inappropriate?

 

If so, you must Delete and replace your photo:

 

You may DELETE and replace your photo while the Album indicates: Open.  

 

 

Is there something inaccurate in your photo's Title or Description information?

 

If so, you may either Delete (and replace) your photo, or Modify your photo:

 

You may DELETE and replace the photo while the Album indicates: Open,.

Please make sure that you give the new version the correct Title and Description information.    

 

Or, you may MODIFY the Title and/or Description information while the Album indicates: Open.

 

Modifying will allow you to keep the current photo.

 

 

 

3.  THE HOST MUST DECIDE if your correction is correct!

 

Did you Delete and replace your Rejected or Disqualified photo?

 

If so, if the Host is screening, your new photo will be given a PA, Pending Approval badge. PA BADGE ICON 

 

You will need to wait for the Host's decision whether to Approve or Reject your new photo.

 

If the Host approves your new photo, the PA Badge will be removed and your photo will be changed to Approved.

 

If the Host does not approve your new photo, your photo will be changed

to Rejected and a Rejection comment will be left for you to explain the reason why.  

 

 

Did you Modify the Title or Description of a Rejected photo?

 

If so, your Rejected photo that you modified (corrected), will be given a PA, Pending Approval badge. PA BADGE ICON 

 

You will need to wait for the Host's decision whether to Approve or Reject your corrected photo.

 

If the Host approves your correction, the PA Badge will be removed and your photo will be changed to Approved.

 

If the Host does not approve your correction, your photo will be changed back

to Rejected and a Rejection comment will be left for you to explain the reason why.  

 

 

Did you Modify the Title or Description of a Disqualified photo?

 

If so, your Disqualified photo that you modified (corrected), will be given a specialized DQ-PA badge.   DQ-PA BADGE ICON

 

The DQ-PA badge means that you have modified (corrected) your Disqualified entry and it is now Pending Approval of the correction.  

 

You will need to wait for the Host's decision whether to Approve or Reject your corrected photo.

 

If the Host approves your correction, the DQ-PA Badge will be removed from your photo and the Disqualification will be cleared away.

 

If the Host does not approve your correction, your photo will be changed to Rejected and a Rejection comment will be left for you to explain the reason why.  

 

 

NOTE: You may Modify or Delete your entries only while an Album indicates: Open.
