NOTE:  This answer applies to a Contest being judged by an assigned Single Judge. 

 

This answer does not apply to a Contest being rated. 

 

 

In order to judge a Contest, you must be a member of the Gallery and then you must be assigned as the judge for the Contest by your Gallery's Host!

These are the basic steps for how to Judge the Contests in your Gallery.

 

1.  Volunteer to judge a Contest in your Member Gallery.

 

2.  Be assigned by your Gallery Host as the Single Judge for one or more Contests.

 

3.  Sign In to SnapBraggin with your Username or Email Address and Password.

 

4.  Then click on the For Judges menu link.

 

5.  Click on a Gallery dropdown,

 

6.  Then click on a Contest Album link that has a Ready for judging icon.  READY FOR JUDGING ICON

 

7.  Judging Phase #1:  

 

View, judge and select your Finalists on the Judging Phase #1 page.  

 

Flag as Finalists as many entries as possible up to the required number of Finalists.

 

Disqualify some entries and leave comments why, if desired.

 

8.  Judging Phase #2: 

 

When you have selected your Finalists, click on the Judging Phase #2 button.

 

Rearrange your Finalists into judged order (starting with First place in top left) on the Judging Phase #2 page.

 

9.  Complete the Judging:  To do so, click on the Complete judging button.

 

10.  Re-judge a Completed Contest if desired.  Click on a Contest Album link that has a Completed icon. COMPLETED ICON Then click on the Re-judge This Contest button and repeat from Step #5. 

 

11.  If you have additional assigned Contests, repeat from Step #2 until you have Completed all of your assigned Contests. 

 

12.  Let your Gallery Host know that you have finished judging your assigned Contests.
