NOTE: Only a Gallery Host has the ability to Rearrange the order of photos in an Album.

 

 

 

IF YOU ARE A GALLERY MEMBER:

 

SORRY!

 

Gallery Members may not Rearrange the order of photos in any Albums.

 

A Gallery Member may contact their Gallery's Host and ask him or her to rearrange your photos for you.  

 

To contact your Gallery's Host, access your My Account - My Gallery Memberships page and click on the applicable Send Host a Message button (if provided by the Host.)

 

 

NOTE: Signed In Members can use the photo Viewing Preferences button on an Album's Home page to select a photo "display order" for the photos in that Album.

 

This is temporary, however, and will merely display the photos in the selected order for the User only.  

 

The possible photo orders are:  default (host determined), alphabetical, or upload date (newest to oldest.)

 

You can, also, use the Show My Photos Only preference, in conjunction with one of those display order preferences, to display just your own photos in one of those sequences.

 

 

 

 

IF YOU ARE A GALLERY HOST:

 

A Host has one tool for rearranging the order of the photos in their Album:

 

The Rearrange Photos tool.

 

Use this tool to manually rearrange any or all of the photos in your Album.

 

A Host may use the Rearrange Photos tool to change the order of the Host's Photos and/or their Members' photos while an Album is Open or Closed. 

 

NOTE:  If a Standard Contest Album is in Judging, Completed or Recorded state, you will not be able to rearrange photos at this time.    Photos may never be rearranged in Champion or Grand Champion Contest Albums.

 

A Host may change the state of their Contest Albums via the Contest Management List for their Gallery.

 

 

1.  While viewing an Album's Home page, select Rearrange Photos (via the Host Tools button or menu link.)

 

2.  Drag and Drop each photo into the rearranged order desired.

 

3.  When you are satisfied with the order of your photos, click on the Done button.  

 

NOTE: You can hover your cursor over the thumbnails to read the photo Titles.

 

NOTE:  Whenever photos are judged or rated in a Contest Album, the judging activity will temporarily override the Host's rearranged order. 

 

The order of the photos in the Contest Album will be changed, based on the selected finalists.  

 

After a Contest Album is Reset, however, the order will revert back to the Host's rearranged order.
