SnapBraggin: Answers
Questions Prev NextI am not able to Add Photos to an Album. Why?
Whether you are a Gallery Host or a Gallery Member, whenever an +Add Photo button is RED in an Album, that means that you may not Add photos to the Album at this time.
- There are several possible reasons why the +Add Photo button might be RED (inactive) in an Album.
- You may click on the RED +Add button to read the reason why!
You are not signed In.
- This means that you are not signed in to the website. You must sign in to the SnapBraggin website using your Username or Email address and password.
- If you do not have a Username, you will need to register.
Only the Gallery Host can add photos to this Album.
- This means that the Album is a Host Only type Album. The Host of the Gallery is the only member who has permission
- to Add photos to a Host Only Album.
You must be a Member of the Gallery. Consider joining!
- This means that the Album is a Shared or Contest type Album.
- You must be a Member of the Gallery (and have permission) or the Host to be able to Add photos to a Shared or Contest type Album.
- If that sounds like something you might enjoy doing, you will need to JOIN the Gallery's membership.
The Host of the Gallery does not want you to submit photos at this time.
- This means that, although you are a member, you do not have permission from the Gallery's Host to Add photos at this time.
- Your membership privilege is set as Can Submit NO. You will need to contact your Gallery's Host to ask why you do not have permission.
- You may visit your My Account - My Gallery Memberships page to view your membership privileges and to contact your Gallery's Host.
The Host does not want any new photos to be added at this time.
- This means that the Shared or Contest Album is Closed and is not accepting submissions or entries from Members.
- No members may add photos at this time.
The Host has imposed a limit of (a specific number of) photos per member in this album. You have already entered the limit, so your uploads have been disabled to avoid exceeding the limit. You could always consider deleting a few.
- This means that, although you are a member, you cannot add additional photos at this time because you have already
- reached the maximum number of photos allowed per member.
- NOTE: You could possibly delete some of your current photos in the Album in order to get below the maximum number so that you can add new photos.
- NOTE: The Album's Home page (when the Album is Open), will indicate the Submission number permitted per member. For example (it might say): Submissions: Open, 6 per member.
- The number of submissions per member is also listed on the Photo Uploader page.
The Contest cannot accept entries while in the judging, completed or recorded state.
- This means that, although you are a member or Host, you cannot add entries at this time because the Contest Album is currently being judged or rated.
You cannot add entries to Champion and Grand Champion contests. They are populated by feeder contests.
- This means that, although you are a member or the Host, you cannot add entries to this type of Contest Album.
- In fact, higher-level Contest Albums (Champion or Grand Champion Contest Albums) NEVER accept uploads.
- During judging, the 1st place winners of lower-level (feeder) Contests will automatically feed into these higher-level
- Contests in order to be judged or rated.
The Host of this Gallery has reached their contracted photo count. You may delete some of your photos to free up space. NOTE: IF YOU ARE THE HOST, you may UPGRADE your Hosting Plan! Access your My Account - My Hosting Plan and purchase a plan with a greater photo count!
- The +Add photo button will be red if the Host's Hosting Plan has reached its capacity!
- This will happen when the Host's purchased storage space is all filled up!
- For example: If the Host's Hosting Plan allows 5000 photos (to be stored in all of the User's Galleries combined), and 5000 photos have been uploaded, well... that has maxed out the contracted storage amount.
- NOTE: You may delete some of your photos to free up space for new ones! The +Add photo button may become active (no longer RED) if you free up some space (depending on other parameters.)

- NOTE: You may delete some of your photos to free up space for new ones! The +Add photo button may become active (no longer RED) if you free up some space (depending on other parameters.)
Photos cannot be added to Expired Galleries. IF YOU ARE THE HOST RENEW your Hosting Plan immediately to avoid deletion of your photos! Access your My Account - My Hosting Plan page and purchase a Hosting Plan today!
- You will see this reason if the Host of the Gallery has let their Hosting Plan Contract expire.
- If this occurs, it might be a good idea to contact your Gallery's Host and remind them to renew their Hosting Plan BEFORE SnapBraggin deletes their photos AND deletes your photos that are stored in the Gallery !
