We can think of a few reasons to hide a story!

Some reasons ...

• You probably want to keep a story hidden while you are writing and editing it. SnapBraggin cannot determine when a story is ready for member or public consumption. Instead, you must manage the viewing state.
• Deleting is permanent. You may not want to permanently delete an older story that is no longer relavant. Old stories can be good references or may capture historical information you wish to preserve.
• Having too many stories listed may make it difficult for your members to find the information that is important.
• Stories are a good way to promote the start or approach of upcomming hosted contests. These notices are usually time sensitive and eventually need to be hidden.
• Stories are a good way to showcase contest results. These notices are usually time sensitive too.
