I am a Gallery Host. How do I Reject a photo?

As a Gallery's Host, you may Reject a photo in your Gallery, just about any time you want to (except while a Contest Album is in Completed or Recorded state.)

You may:

REJECT any PA, Pending Approval photo, while you are manually screening for content.

REJECT any DQ-PA, Pending Approval of corrections that the owner made to a Disqualified entry, if you do not agree with the corrections.

REJECT any previously-Approved photo, if you discover that the photo is inappropriate or undesirable for any reason.

Whenever you REJECT a photo, you will be asked to provide a Rejection Comment to explain why.

NOTE:  The use of REJECT allows the Host the opportunity to provide feedback to the Member by way of the Rejection Comment, as an alternative to just Deleting the photo.

Rejected photos will be hidden from other members or the public, and they will not be judged or rated.

HOW TO REJECT A PHOTO:

1.  Visit your Gallery's Home page.

2.  Enter an Album.

NOTE:  If a Contest Album indicates: Completed or Recorded, you will not be able to Reject photos in that Album at this time.   You may change the state of Contest Albums in the Contest Management List.

3. Click on the thumbnail, scroll view or Hybrid image of the photo that you want to Reject.

The photo's Detail page will be displayed.

4. Then Click on the Reject button

5. You will be asked to provide the reason for the Rejection in the Rejection Comment box.

The Rejection Comment will tell the owner why their photo was not approved by you.

6. Type your reason into the box (so that the owner will know what to correct.)

7.  and click Apply.

The Photo will be given Host Appraisal: Rejected.

And the photo will be given a Rejected Badge.
