This answer is for use only by Gallery Hosts who are interested in holding Contests.

 

 

SnapBraggin offers three types of Contest Albums:

 

Standard, Champion and Grand Champion.

 

When a Host creates a Contest Album, the Host must choose whether the Contest will be a lower level (entry level) Standard Contest or a higher-level Champion or Grand Champion Contest.

 

Standard is the lowest, entry level of Contests.

 

Champion is the next level up, in which the 1st place winners from selected Standard (feeder) Contests will be judged or rated.

 

Grand Champion is the highest level of Contest, in which the 1st place winners from selected Champion (feeder) Contests will be judged or rated.

 

 

 

What are Champion and Grand Champion Contests used for?

 

You can use the Champion and Grand Champion Contests to create 2-level or 3-level Tournaments!

 

 

 

How are higher-level, Champion and Grand Champion Contests different than Standard Contests?

 

Higher-level Contests are specialized Contest Album unique to SnapBraggin.

 

Higher-level Contests can never be changed to state: Open (because they do not permit uploads.   Winners will feed into them from feeder Contests during the judging process.)

 

The 1st place winners from Standard Contests will feed into Champion Contests.  

 

The 1st place winners from Champion Contests will feed into Grand Champion Contests.

 

 

Higher- level Contests require at least TWO FEEDER Contests be indicated in Album Management.    

Higher-level Contests will not be judged or rated if they have less than the required TWO FEEDER contests. 

 

Higher-level Contests do not accept uploads.

 

Higher-level Contests will be populated by "temporary" versions of 1st place winners from associated "feeder" contests.

 

Higher-level Contests cannot be changed manually to state: Judging.   Higher-level Contests will transition automatically to Judging state, when all of their feeder Contests are Completed or Recorded.
