What are Feeder Contests?
This answer is for use only by Gallery Hosts who are interested in holding Contests.
"FEEDER CONTESTS" FEED THEIR WINNERS INTO HIGHER-LEVEL CONTESTS
If you want to create a tournament bracket, with lower- and higher-level Contests,
you will need to indicate "feeder Contests".
"Feeder Contests" are SnapBraggin's terminology for those Contests which are selected by the Host specifically to: "feed" their winners into the next, higher-level Contest in the bracket.
NOTE: What really happens is that SnapBraggin creates temporary, duplicate versions of the 1st place winners from the feeder Contests, and displays them in (automatically "feeds" them into) the higher-level Contest.
For example:
The 1st place winners from selected Standard "feeder" Contests might feed into a Champion Contest.
The 1st place winners from selected Champion "feeder" Contests might feed into a Grand Champion Contest.
AT LEAST TWO "FEEDER CONTESTS" MUST BE CHOSEN FOR EACH HIGHER-LEVEL CONTEST
It is the Host's job to select which Contests will be "feeder Contests" for a higher-level Contest.
It is the Host's job to remember that each higher-level Contest
MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO Feeder Contests selected in Album management.
For example: Each Champion Contest MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO Standard Contests selected as feeder contests.
"FEEDER CONTESTS" ARE SELECTED IN ALBUM MANAGEMENT
During the creation of a higher-level Contest (a Champion or a Grand Champion Contest Album) the Host will be asked to indicate AT LEAST TWO "Feeder Contests."
The Host will be provided with a list of already established "possible feeder Contests" from which to choose.
If there are NOT enough "Feeder Contests" listed, the Host will need to go make some.
(The Host can add additional lower-level Contests to the Gallery.)
Then the Host will need to return to Album Management (for the Contest Album with not enough feeder Contests.)
Once there are plenty of lower-level Contests available, the Host will be able to select the required TWO OR MORE (aka AT LEAST TWO) "Feeder Contests."
WARNING: Higher-level Contests cannot be judged or rated if they have less than the
required TWO FEEDER contests indicated in Album management !
