A 3-level Tournament for Qualified Entries will combine: The instructions for:

• How do I create and run a simple Tournament for Qualified Entries?
• How do I create and run a basic, 3-Level Tournament (with Standard, Champion and Grand Champion Contest Albums)?

How the 3-level Tournament for qualified entries works:

• In this type of tournament, you will hold a basic, 3-level (Standard, Champion and Grand Champion) Tournament several times during the year (in REGULAR CONTEST MODE), and Record the results for all Contests each time.
• Then you will run the Tournament a final time in QUALIFIED CONTEST MODE.
• In Qualified Contest Mode, only those entries that became "qualified" in the earlier versions of the tournament will be judged or rated this time.
• The tournament will culminate with the ultimate winners from among the qualified entries.

How many Contest Albums do I need for a 3-Level Tournament? Your 3-level tournament will require:

• ONE Grand Champion type Contest Album.
• AT LEAST TWO Champion "feeder" Contest Albums (can be any number two or greater.)
• AT LEAST TWO Standard "feeder" Contest Albums FOR EVERY CHAMPION Contest Album (can be any number two or greater PER Champion Contest Album.)

How to create and run your 3-level Tournament for Qualified entries:

• Setup a basic, 3-level Tournament bracket with your desired number of Standard Contests, Champion Contests and Grand Champion Contest involved.

• Run (in REGULAR CONTEST MODE) and RECORD the results of (for several times during the year) all of the Contests in your 3-level Tournament.
  • Encourage your Gallery's Members to submit entries into the Contests, judge or rate the entries to determine the winners each time, and RECORD the Contests' results each time.
  • Allow the entries to remain in the Standard Contests to be judged or rated again. Allow additional entries to be added each time, if desired.
• At the end of the year, change every Standard Contest in your 3-level tournament bracket to QUALIFIED CONTEST MODE.
  • NOTE: You will need to change each Standard Contest individually from REGULAR CONTEST MODE to QUALIFIED CONTEST MODE in Manage This Album - Album Contest Settings.
  • NOTE: Your Champion and Grand Champion Contests do not require any Contest Mode settings. The Champion and Grand Champion Contest Albums will perform as usual, without any adjustments.
• THEN JUDGE OR RATE THE CONTESTS ONE LAST TIME:
  • Run your 3-level, tournament one last time.
  • All of the Contests in your tournament bracket will again be judged or rated.
    
    However, only qualified entries will be judged or rated this time.
  • Non-qualified entries will be temporarily hidden.
  • The tournament will culminate with the ultimate winners from among the qualified entries.
