The Promote Contests, Gallery Management option is useful in those Galleries in which the Host wants to hold Contests, and wants to let others know about it! 

 

This Gallery option is all about getting the word out that you are holding Contests in your SnapBraggin Gallery !

 

 

 

In order to make your Gallery indicate: Competitive YES, you will need to:

 

Set the Promote Contests option to YES,

 

AND create and maintain at least one Contest Album in your Gallery.

 

 

 

The options for Promote Contests?  are:

 

YES or NO?

 

If you hold contests, do you want site visitors to know it?

 

This option allows you to advertise that you are holding Contests, if desired.

 

By advertising, we mean that your Gallery Banner and Gallery Home will indicate:

Competitive Yes (as long as you maintain a Contest Album in your Gallery.)

 

YES:  If you select YES, and maintain a Contest Album, your Gallery Banner and Home

will indicate:  Competitive YES.

 

NO:  If you select NO, you can still hold Contests, but your Gallery Banner and Home will not announce it.

 

 

New Gallery Setup:

During initial Setup of a new Gallery, STEP #5 allows you to determine Contest Settings, including whether or not to Promote Contests?

 

Established Gallery: 

To Change whether or not to Promote Contests for an established Gallery:

 

1.  While visiting your Gallery's Home page, access Manage This Gallery (via the Host Tools button or menu link.) 

 

2. Click on the Gallery Contest Settings button.

 

3. Make your desired change to the Promote Contests? option.

 

Select Yes or No.

 

4. Then Click Save.
