This Gallery Management option is useful in those Galleries in which the Host wants to hold Contests.

 

This Gallery option pertains only to Galleries in which Contest Albums will be judged or rated.  

 

If you hold contests, when a Contest's Results are Completed or Recorded, this setting will make the First Place Winner's photo temporarily replace the Album's Banner Art (until the Contest is Reset.)  

 

NOTE: This option will apply to ALL Contests in the Gallery.

 

 

The options for Winning Contest Photos Replace Album Banner Art are:    

YES or NO?

YES:  Select YES if you want the Winning Image to appear temporarily as the Album Banner Art for a Contest Album that has been Completed or Recorded. 

When this option is selected, a copy of the winning photo will be used as the temporary Album Banner Art for the Contest Album.  

The winning photo will be displayed on the Contest Album Banner until the Contest is Reset, at which time the original Album Banner Art will be reinstated. 

NO:  Select NO if you want the Album Banner Art to remain unchanged after a Contest Album has been Completed or Recorded.

 

 

New Gallery Setup:

During initial Setup of a new Gallery, STEP #5 allows you to determine Contest Settings, including whether or not to have Winning Contest Photos Replace Album Banner Art.

 

Established Gallery: 

To Change whether or not to have Winning Contest Photos Replace Album Banner Art for an established Gallery:

 

1.  While visiting your Gallery's Home page, access Manage This Gallery (via the Host Tools button or menu link.) 

 

2. Click on the Gallery Contest Settings button.

 

3. Make your desired change to the Winning Contest Photos Replace Album Banner Art option.

 

4. Then Click Save.
