Your Gallery may either be found by the public because it is listed in All Listed Galleries,  

 

or, your Gallery may be private (hidden from search results) because it is Unlisted.

New Gallery Setup:

During initial Setup of a new Gallery, STEP #3 allows you to choose whether or not your Gallery "Appears in All Listed Galleries for public to see?"

 

Established Gallery: 

To Change whether your Gallery "Appears in All Listed Galleries for public to see:"

 

1.  While visiting your Gallery's Home page, access Manage This Gallery (via the Host Tools button or menu link.) 

 

2. Click on the Gallery Promotional Settings button.

 

3. Set the option for "Appears in All Listed Galleries for public to see?"   YES or NO ?

 

Choose YES if you want your Gallery to appear in the public All Listed Galleries so that your Gallery can be found by anyone searching the master list of Galleries.  

 

Choose NO if you prefer that your Gallery is private and UNLISTED.

 

4.  Then Click Save.

 

 

NOTE:  When your Gallery is UNLISTED, your Gallery will not be found by someone searching the list of All Listed Galleries! 

 

However, you may provide (to family and friends) the direct link to your Gallery's Home page, if desired.   The direct URL can be found on your Gallery's Home page.

 

Be aware, however, that, even if your Gallery is UNLISTED (private), Albums in your Gallery that are set as  Viewing: By Everyone can still be viewed by anyone who uses the direct URL address to visit your Gallery's Home page.
