The Host has two methods for Alphabetizing Albums:

the Host can do it themselves, or the Host can let SnapBraggin do it!

 

 

MANUALLY ALPHABETIZE (using the Rearrange Albums tool):

A Gallery's Host can manually alphabetize the order of Albums, if desired.

The manual Rearrange Albums tool is available on your Gallery's Home page.

The Host may use the Rearrange Albums tool to alphabetize the Albums within ONE specific Group.

 

1.  Sign in using your Username or Email Address and Password.

 

2.  Click on My Hosted Galleries in the menu.

 

3.  Visit your Gallery's Home page.

 

4.  YOU MUST USE the Album Group List button to select a specific Group. 

 

NOTE:  Manual rearrange is disabled when All Groups is selected.

 

5. Then click on Rearrange Albums (via the Host Tools button or menu link) to access the Rearrange Albums page.

 

6. Drag and drop the Albums to rearrange the order of the Albums.

 

7. When you are satisfied with the order of your Albums, Click the <--Done button.

 

NOTE:  The Rearrange Albums tool will be disabled if List Albums Alphabetically is set as YES in Gallery management.

 

IF you receive a message that the Rearrange Albums tool is disabled, you may jump directly to Gallery management

by clicking on the Go to Promotional Settings button (in the popup.)   

 

Then, if you want to manually rearrange your Albums, change the option for List Albums Alphabetically to NO.  

SnapBraggin will recover your most recent manual order.

 

 

 

AUTOMATICALLY ALPHABETIZE (using the List Albums Alphabetically option):

Automatic alphabetize is set in Gallery Management.

Automatic alphabetize will affect ALL Albums in your Gallery.

Automatic alphabetize will rearrange (and will constantly keep) the Albums in alphabetical order within EVERY Group in your Gallery (without further interaction by the Host.) 

 

1.  While visiting your Gallery's Home page, click on Manage This Gallery (via Host Tools or a menu link.) 

 

2. Then click on the Gallery Promotional Settings button.

 

3. Set the option for List Albums Alphabetically.   YES or NO?

 

Select YES if you want your Albums to constantly be displayed in Alphabetical order on the Gallery's Home page, 

 

Select NO if you prefer to rearrange the order of your Albums yourself.

 

4.  Then Click Save

 

NOTE:  If you switch back to: List Albums Alphabetically NO, SnapBraggin will recover your most recent manual order,

and you will be able to manually rearrange your Albums.

 

NOTE:  Host-defined automatic alphabetical order (as described above) is strictly

PER GROUP (as displayed on the Gallery Home and in the Contest Management List.)

 

 

ALPHABETIZE (TEMPORARILY) USING PREFERENCES:

There is actually a third way to alphabetize the Albums in a Gallery!

The Host or any visitor to the Gallery can utilize the Preferences option on the Gallery Home page, if desired,

to temporarily display (for the viewer only) ALL Albums in alphabetical order (regardless of Group.)

 

NOTE:  This even works in ALL GROUPS !

1.  On the Gallery's Home Page,

2.  Click on the Albums Group List button to select a Group,

OR select All Groups.

3.  click on the Preferences button.

4.  Select: Titles Alphabetically A to Z.

5.  Then click on Apply.

 

NOTE: The preferences option will not alter the Host-defined order of Albums.

The preferences option only changes the order of what the viewer displays and sees for their temporary enjoyment.
