NOTE: This answer applies to a Contest in which the winners are being determined by using the Member Ratings system of judgment, which means that all of the Members of the Gallery and the Host may vote for their favorites by Rating the photos.

 

This answer does not apply to a Contest judged by an Assigned Single Judge. 

 

 

 

In order to Rate the photos in a Contest, you must be a member of the Gallery that is holding the Contest.

 

 

 

DETAILED ANSWER VERSION for How do I Rate the photos? 

 

These are the detailed steps for how to Rate the photos in your Gallery.

 

1.  Join and become a Gallery Member:  You must be a Member of a Gallery that is holding Contests (that is Competitive YES) in order to rate the photos in the Contests in that Gallery

 

2. Sign In to SnapBraggin with your Username or Email Address and Password.

 

3. Visit your Member Gallery’s Home page.    

 

4.  If desired, Select the GROUP

Click on the Album Group List button

 

5. Click to go into any Contest Album that indicates: Accepting Ratings.

 

NOTE:  If the Contest Album indicates something different (does not indicate: Accepting Ratings), you will not be able to Rate the photos in that Contest at this time.

 

6.  Click on the Ratings stars! 

 

When the Ratings are active, each photo in the Contest will display a series of ten Ratings stars. RATINGS STARS ICON

 

Highlight 10 stars:  Simply highlight all of the stars to give a photo the highest Rating of 10.

 

Highlight 1 star:  Highlight only one star to give a photo the lowest Rating of 1.

 

Highlight zero stars:  Or leave all of the stars empty if you do not want to Rate a photo.  When the stars are all empty, a photo will have a Rating of None. 

 

7.  Change your Ratings:   You may change your Ratings at any time while a Contest is in the Ratings Period (anytime that the Album indicates: Accepting Ratings.)  

 

NOTE: The SnapBraggin program will remember your most recent Ratings for each photo.

 

8.  Rate more photos.

 

You may continue to Rate the photos within the Contests in your Member Gallery until your Gallery Host ends the Ratings Period.

 

NOTE: When the Ratings Period has ended, the Contest Album will no longer indicate: Accepting Ratings.

 

9.  Ratings totals:  Each entry in the Contest will display the current Ratings total RATINGS TOTAL ICON for that photo (based on the combined Ratings from the Gallery's members.)       

 

10.  Inactive Ratings:  If the Ratings are inactive in the Contest for some reason, SnapBraggin will provide a message explaining why.
