Well, how to view the results for a Contest depends on the status of the Contest…

 

Is the Contest current (because it is actively being judged or rated)?  

 

Or is the Contest a past, historical Contest?

 

 

 

HOW TO VIEW CURRENT VISUAL CONTEST STANDINGS:   

 

ENTER A CONTEST ALBUM:

 

To view the active judging or ratings in a current Contest: Simply enter any

Standard, Champion or Grand Champion Contest Album on the Gallery's Home page.

 

If the Contest Album indicates:  Judging or Accepting Ratings:

 

Judging or Accepting Ratings mean that judging or ratings are in progress.

 

The entries within a contest that is currently being judged or Rated may display Finalist flags (if being judged) or Finalist flags and Ratings totals (if being Rated.) 

 

The entries within the contest album may be in placed order starting with First Place in the top left.

 

If the Contest Album indicates:  Completed or Recorded:

 

Judging Completed or Judging Recorded mean that judging or ratings are finished.

 

Entries within Contests that have been Completed or Recorded will display awards (if the entries were judged) or awards and Ratings totals (if the entries were Rated.)    

 

The entries in Completed or Recorded Contests will be in placed order starting with First Place in the top left.

 

NOTE:  Completed Contests, however, can still be re-judged (because they are not yet official), so the placed order may possibly change. 

 

On the other hand, Recorded Contests are official and final, so those placements and awards will not change.  The winners are locked in.

 

 

 

HOW TO VIEW HISTORICAL (VISUAL OR WRITTEN) CONTEST RESULTS:

 

USE THE CONTEST HISTORY:

 

Once a Gallery's Host records and resets a Contest Album, the Contest results become Historical Contest Results, which are archived by SnapBraggin. 

 

The historical results for a Contest that was previously judged or rated (and Recorded) will be available on the Contest History page for that Contest.

 

1. Sign In with your Username or Email Address and Password.

 

2.  Visit your Member Gallery.   

 

3.  Click to enter and view a Contest Album's Home page. 

 

4.  When viewing a Contest Album's Home page, click on the Contest History link in the menu.

 

5.  VISUAL RESULTS: Select one of the provided dates in order to display the visual Historical Results for that Contest date.  You will be shown thumbnails of the Contest's winning entries.

 

NOTE:  If you see a checkmark next to a date, that means that you have one or more winning entries in that Contest.  That’s cool!

 

6.  WRITTEN RESULTS: From there you can click on View Report to generate a copy of the written Historical Results for that date.

 

7.  Written Report versions: Snapbraggin provides two written report versions.

 

Website Version:  SnapBraggin will first display a website version of the written results for the selected date.

 

Text Version: If you desire a text version of the results, click on the View report as text button.

 

8.  Save a copy:  If you would like to save a copy of the Written Results, you will want to:

 

Open the Text Version of the report.

 

Highlight the results and use Copy Paste to transfer the written results to your favorite Word Processing Document.

 

Then save the Word Processing Document.  

 

9.  To return to the Contest History, after you are finished viewing the written Historical results: 

 

If you are viewing the Website Version, click on the Back button.

 

If you are viewing the Text Version, click on the X to close that browser tab,

Then click on the Back button. 

 

 

NOTE:  Written Historical Results might also be available from other sources as well, such as through an associated message group, or directly via request from your Gallery's Host.    

 

NOTE:  Please contact your Gallery's Host if you need help with acquiring Historical Contest results, particularly for a large number of related Contests.
