What does Files Will Be Down-sized to Fit mean?
The Gallery's Host may restrict the size of photo files that can be uploaded into an Album.
When the Host has set the restriction as "Files Will Be Down-sized to Fit", that means that when you upload a photo file into the Album, if the photo is too big, the file will be automatically and permanently down-sized by SnapBraggin to be no larger than the dimensions indicated.
So, you need to ask yourself:
Is my photo file equal to or smaller than the required dimensions?
If so, you're good. SnapBraggin will not need to down-size your file. SnapBraggin will save your original size file (because your file is small enough to fit within the dimensions.)
Is my photo file larger than the required dimensions?
If so, SnapBraggin will down-size your file and will save the smaller version of your file (because your file was too large to fit within the dimensions indicated.)
What SnapBraggin will save:
When the restriction is Files Will Be Down-sized to Fit, SnapBraggin will save either:
the original file (if it was small enough)
or the down-sized version (if your original file was too big.)
NOTE: You always have the option to crop and/or resize your files yourself, before uploading them!
