This Album management option is available for all Album types.

 

Album Banner Art is the image which will be displayed as the "representative image" on your Album’s Banner and on your Album's Home page.

 

 

This option allows you to change the "source" of your Album Banner Art.  

 

The source of the Album Banner Art can be either a photo from inside your Album or

it can be a specialized photo that you upload separately.

 

Album Banner art will be displayed within 100x100 pixels on the Album and 200x200 pixels on your Album's Home page. 

 

 

The options for Album Banner Art are:

 

Enable Automatic Album Banner Selection?   YES or NO?

 

YES:  Use the first photo from your Album as the Album Banner Art. 

 

By default, SnapBraggin will use the first (sorted) photo as the source for the Album Banner Art.  Select YES to have SnapBraggin automatically use the first photo from your Album as the Banner Art.  

 

NOTE:  A photo must be Added into the Album, and it must be rearranged to be first in the Album.

 

NO:  Use a photo uploaded separately. 

 

Select NO and you will be given the opportunity to upload Album Banner Art that will not be included among the photos in the Album. 

 

If you would prefer to use a specialized photo for the Album Banner Art, Select NO, and then upload your choice of a specialized photo. 

 

The specialized photo will not be stored in your Album.

 

The specialized photo will only be displayed on the Album Banner and the Album's Home page.  

 

 

New Album Setup:

During initial Setup of a new Album, STEP #2 allows you to indicate the source for the Album Banner Art (either the first photo from within your Album OR a specialized photo uploaded separately.)

 

Established Album:

To change the Album Banner Art of an established Album:

 

1. When on the Album's Home page, select Manage This Album (via the Host Tools button or menu link)

 

2.  Click on the Album Banner Art button

 

3.  Make your desired changes to the Album Banner Art option,

 

NOTE: You can upload or replace the specialized photo, at any time, if desired.

 

4.  Then Click Save.
