These Album management options are available only in Shared Albums or Standard Contest Albums.

 

These options determine whether Members may upload an unlimited number of photos

into the Album, and, if not, how many photos may they upload?

NOTE:  If you restrict the number of photos that may be uploaded per Member, the restriction information will be displayed on the Album's Home page and on the Photo Uploader pages.

Who will be restricted?

Only the Members will be restricted.

The Host will not be restricted.

SnapBraggin will keep a record of how many photos each Member has uploaded, and when a Member has reach the maximum number allowed in the Album, the Member will be prevent from adding any more photos into the Album.

NOTE:  A Member may delete some of their current photos in the Album, to fall below the maximum number, in order to upload more into the Album, if they desire. 

Although the Host will be informed of the number restriction (on Album Home and Uploader pages), the Host will not be restricted.  If the Host desires, the Host can voluntarily comply with the number restriction.  (For example, if the Host is entering their own Contest which permits a restricted number of entries per Member, the Host may want to play fair and also upload only that number or entries.)

The Allow Unlimited Submissions per Member option:

YES or NO ?

YES:  Select YES if you do not care how many photos each Member uploads into the Album.

Members (who have permission to submit) will be allowed to upload an unlimited number of photos into the Album. 

NO:  Select NO if you want to limit the submission to the maximum value you specify.

The Maximum Submissions per Member option:

Provide a number.

When No is selected, you will be asked to provide a number for the Maximum Submissions per Member.   Type a number into the box.   The number must be greater than zero.

For Example:  If you want each Member to upload (and have in the Album) no more than 2 photos, set the number as:  2.

NOTE:  Members will be prevented from uploading more photos than the maximum number indicated.

New Shared or Contest Album Setup:

During initial Setup of a new Shared or Standard Contest Album, STEP #3 allows you to indicate the Maximum Submissions per Member. 

Established Shared or Contest Album:

To change the Allow Unlimited Submissions option of an established Album:

1. When on the Album's Home page, select Manage This Album (via the Host Tools button or menu link)

2.  Click on the Album Photo Settings button

3.  Make your desired changes to the Allow Unlimited Submissions option,

YES or NO?

4. If you Select NO, you will need to enter a number into the Maximum Submission per Member box.  

Type a number into the box.  The number must be greater than zero.

5.  Then Click Save.
