This Album management option is only available for Shared Albums or Standard Contest Albums.

 

This option can force all newly-uploaded photos to have both Titles AND Descriptions.

 

 

Who will be restricted?

 

Both the Members and the Host will be restricted.

 

When the Photo Titles AND Descriptions must be provided option is YES, both the Host's and

the Members' uploads must comply.  

 

All uploads into the specific Shared or Standard Contest Album will be forced to include both Titles AND Descriptions. 

 

 

The options for Photo Titles AND Descriptions must be provided are:   

 

YES or NO?

 

YES:  Select YES if it is imperative that all photos get a Title AND a Description.   This option will require that a Description be typed and saved as well as the Title.

 

NOTE:  Selecting YES will force the use of a Single Photo uploader (the Multi-photo uploader will not be available.)

 

NO:  Select NO if it can be optional whether a Description is provided or not.

 

NOTE:  A Title is always required.  When NO is selected, only the Description is optional.

 

 

New Shared or Contest Album Setup:

During initial Setup of a new Shared or Standard Contest Album, STEP #3 allows you to indicate whether or not Photo Titles AND Descriptions must be Provided for all photos uploaded into the Album.  

 

 

Established Shared or Contest Album:

To change the Photo Titles AND Descriptions must be Provided option of an established Album:

 

1. When on the Album's Home page, select Manage This Album (via the Host Tools button or menu link)

 

2.  Click on the Album Photo Settings button

 

3.  Make your desired changes to the Photo Titles AND Descriptions must be Provided option,

 

4.  Then Click Save.
