This Album management option is available for all Album types.

 

 

This option allows Member Comments to be turned On or Off for an Album.

 

 

This option determines whether or not you and your Gallery's Members can leave Member Comments on the photos in the Album.  

 

This option must be set individually, per each Album.

 

NOTE:  This option only involves Member Comments.  (Member Comments are different than Rejection Comments from the Host, or DQ, Disqualification Comments from Single Judges during judging of Contest Albums.) 

 

NOTE:  Only Members and the Host may leave Member Comments.  

 

SnapBraggin does not provide an option to allow public or Non-member visitors to leave comments on the photos in your Gallery.

 

 

The options for Allow Comments on Photos are:  

 

YES or NO?

 

Can the Gallery's members leave comments on the photos in this Album?

 

YES:  Allow Comments to be submitted by Members. 

 

When Allow Comments on Photos is set to YES, the Gallery Members and the Gallery's Host may leave Comments on the photos in the specific Album.

 

Select YES if you wish to turn Member Comments ON in the Album.

 

NO:  Do not allow Comments to be submitted by Members.

 

When Allow Comments on Photos is set to NO, Gallery Members and the Gallery Host 

may not leave Comments on the photos in the specific Album.

 

Select NO if you wish to turn Member Comments OFF in the Album.

 

 

New Album Setup:

During initial Setup of a new Album, STEP #3 allows you to indicate whether

or not you will Allow Comments on Photos in the Album.

 

Established Album:

To change the Allow Comments on Photos option of an established Album:

 

1. When on the Album's Home page, select Manage This Album (via the Host Tools button or menu link)

 

2.  Click on the Album Photo Settings button

 

3.  Make your desired changes to the Allow Comments on Photos option,

 

4.  Then Click Save.

 

 

WARNING:  Be aware that Members who leave Member Comments have no ability to edit or delete their Comments.   

 

Only the Host may edit or delete Member Comments.
