This answer is for use only by Gallery Hosts who are holding Contests.

If you are a Gallery Host, you may remove a DQ, Disqualification (remove a DQ Flag) from a photo in your Contest Album during certain situations.

 

And, you have two possible methods for removing DQ Flags: 

either via your Gallery's Home page, or via the For Judges menu link.

 

 

 

REMOVE DQs VIA YOUR GALLERY'S HOME PAGE:

 

DQs may be cleared away in Standard Contest Albums via the Gallery Home page.

 

HOWEVER, your Standard Contests must be in Open, Closed or Judging state.  

 

1.  Visit your Hosted Gallery's Home page.

 

2. Verify that your Standard Contest Album is either Open, Closed or Judging state.

 

NOTE:   If a Standard Contest Album is in Completed or Recorded state you will not be able to interact with the photos at this time.  You may change the state of a Contest Album, if desired, via the Contest Management List.

 

3. Enter the Album,

 

4. Access a DQ photo's Detail page.   Click on either the thumbnail, scroll or hybrid view of a photo that has a DQ Flag, DQ FLAG ICON in order to display the photo's Detail page.

 

5. Click on the Clear DQ Appraisal button. 

 

6. The DQ, Disqualification will be removed, and the DQ Flag and DQ Comment will be cleared away.   (The photo will no longer be Disqualified.)

 

 

 

REMOVE DQs VIA the FOR JUDGES menu link:

 

DQs may be cleared away in Standard, Champion or Grand Champion Contest Albums via the For Judges menu link.

 

HOWEVER, this only works while the Contests are in Judging state.   

 

NOTE:  The judgement method must be Single Judge (not Member Ratings.) 

 

1.  Click on the For Judges menu link.

 

2.  Use the dropdowns to locate the Gallery and Contest Album.

 

3. READY FOR JUDGING: If the Contest indicates:  Ready For Judging, that means that the Contest is in the Judging state.  Click to enter the Contest.   

 

4. COMPLETED:  If the Contest indicates:  Judging Completed, that means that the Contest can be re-judged.  Click to enter the Contest.  Then click on the Re-judge this Contest button. 

Re-judging a Contest will change the Contest from Completed state back to the Judging state. 

 

5.  On the Phase #1 page, find the Photo that has a DQ Flag that you wish to remove.

 

6. To remove the DQ Flag from an entry, click on the gray "Clear" Flag botton or icon on the photo's thumbnail, Scroll view, or Detail page.   

 

7. The DQ, Disqualification will be removed, and the DQ Flag and DQ Comment will be cleared away.
