I am a Gallery Host. What is Automatic Approval of new submissions? And how do I chose Automatic Approval rather than Manual Approval?
What is Automatic Approval?
Automatic Approval means that all newly-uploaded photos will be immediately given Host Appraisal: Approved.
Why use Automatic Approval?
Gallery Hosts may use Automatic Approval to automatically approve all new photos as they are being submitted into your Gallery by your Gallery's Members.
When Automatic Approval is selected, all newly-uploaded photos will automatically be given Host Appraisal: Approved and will be immediately viewable.
Manual screening will not be required.
How do I choose to Automatically Approve new photos?
It is chosen in Gallery management.
If you want to use Automatic Approval, set the Gallery Management option for Submission Approval Type to: Automatic.
Manual Approval vs Automatic Approval is initially selected during Gallery Setup, but may be changed at a later time via Manage This Gallery - Gallery Membership Settings.
When Automatic Approval is selected, all members of the Gallery will be set to that requirement in the Member Management List.
To Change Submission Approval Type in an established Gallery:
1. While visiting your Gallery's Home page, access Manage This Gallery via Host Tools or a menu link.
2. Click on the Gallery Membership Settings button.
3. Select your preferred Submission Approval Type for the Gallery
Manual or Automatic
All members of the Gallery will be set to the selected requirement in the Member Management List.
4. Then Click Save.
NOTE: No matter which Approval Type is selected, Hosts ALWAYS retain the right to Reject or Delete unwanted photos in their Galleries.
