How do I start the Ratings (when using Member Ratings during Judging state)?

This answer applies only to Contest Albums that will be judged by Member Ratings (not by Single Judges.)

IF you want the Ratings to happen while the Contest Albums are in the Judging state:

MEMBER RATINGS must be the judgement method,

and, ALLOW RATINGS WHILE OPEN can be either YES or NO.

NOTE: We are assuming that you have already created the Contest Albums, and have assigned the

judgement method as Member Ratings.

We are assuming that you have already allowed entries to be submitted during state: Open.

(Either with or without Ratings during Open state.)

We are assuming that you have made your decisions (if you are screening entries) about whether to

Approve or Reject any PA, Pending Approval entries.

And, we are assuming that your Contest Album is currently in state: Closed or Open,

and is, in your opinion, ready to be rated.

To start the ratings, simply change the state of the Contest(s) to Judging

in the Contest Management List.

1. On your Gallery's Home page, access the Contest Management List (via the Host Tools button or menu link.)

2. Place checkmarks beside selected Contests.

3. Click on Edit Selected.

4. Click on Change State

5. Click on Judge (to change all of the selected Contests to state: Judging.)

The Contest Albums will indicate: Accepting Ratings.

You and your Gallery's Members will then be able to access and rate the Contests via

the Gallery's Home page.
