How do I Record Results to make Contests official and final?
This answer applies only to Contest Albums.
What does it mean to "Record Results?"
“Record Results” means to save the results and to make them official.
If you are holding Contests, you will want to preserve the information about who won!
You will do that by changing the Contests to the Recorded state in the Contest Management List.
When you "Record the Results," SnapBraggin will archive all of the information about the winners of the Contest
(which entries were the winning Finalists), and about who judged the Contests.
SnapBraggin will also tabulate the points and awards that were earned by the winning Finalists.
How do I "Record Results?"
You "Record Results" by changing the Contest from the Completed state to the Recorded state
in the Contest Management List.
Your Contest must first be COMPLETED:
Your Contest must be in the Completed state in order to be Recorded !
IS YOUR CONTEST BEING JUDGED?
If so, your Single Judge will Complete the judging of their assigned Contest via the For Judges path.
IS YOUR CONTEST BEING RATED?
If so, the Host must manually change the Contest to the Completed state in the Contest Management List.
Then you may change your Contest to the RECORDED state:
When the Host is satisfied that the Contests have been completed properly, the Host will then
want to Record the results.
1. On your Gallery's Home page, select Contest Management List (via the Host Tools button or menu link.)
2. Place checkmarks next to selected Contests that are in the Completed state.
3. Click on Edit Selected.
4. Click on Change state.
5. Click on Record.
The selected Contests will be transitioned to the Recorded state.
And the results will be recorded and archived.
NOTE: If you are holding Champion and Grand Champion Contests, all of their feeder (lower-level) Contests
must be changed to Recorded before the Champion and Grand Champion Contests can be change to Recorded.
The progression is: Standard before Champion, Champion before Grand Champion.
However, it IS possible to change all associated Contests (for example, all of the Contests in a tournament)
to the Recorded state at once, IF all of the Contests are in the Completed state.
