How do I change the Gallery Search Tags for my Gallery?

Category Search Tags are a specific set of words that will be used to help visitors find your Gallery.

When visitors use the Gallery search filter, the search will look for matches in your Gallery's Title, Gallery's Description, the Host's Name, and your Gallery's Search Tags.

This Gallery management option allows you to establish the Search Tags that will be associated with your Gallery's content.

For example:  If your Gallery will display photographs of birds, you could save the following Search Tags:  Animals, Birds, Owls, Eagles, Hummingbirds, Digital, Nature, Pets and Photography.

New Gallery Setup:

During initial Setup of a new Gallery, STEP #3 allows you to provide Gallery Search Tags.

Established Gallery:

To Change your Gallery Search Tags:

1.  While visiting your Gallery's Home page, access Manage This Gallery (via the Host Tools button or menu link.)

2. Click on the Gallery Promotional Settings button.

3.  If you have no Gallery Search Tags yet, or you wish to add more, simply type words into the box.  YOU MUST PRESS ENTER AFTER TYPING EACH TAG WORD.

NOTE: Gallery Search Tags are not case-sensitive.

4.  If you already have some Gallery Search Tags and you wish to remove some of them, simply click on an X to delete each unwanted tag word.

5.  When you are finished updating your tags, Click Save.

NOTE:  Remember that, if your Gallery is UNLISTED, no one will find your Gallery by searching!  Your Gallery Search Tags will be useless!

Gallery Search Tags will only be useful if your Gallery is LISTED in the public All Listed Galleries, so that visitors can find your Gallery by searching.
